Bridge of Hope Educational Program

THE TIF- EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM. (TIF-EP)

The TIF-EP- Bridge of Hope Educational Program (BoHEP) was created to ensure that female students, especially those who have given birth and who seek to go back to school have access to high quality primary and secondary education. The BoHEP aims to create an environment where all female students, especially those in academic levels, ‘Standard seven’(7), and ‘Form four’(4) have continued access to education during their menstrual cycle or if they are lactating. Our approach focuses on promoting and investing in issues that will lead to quality education in close partnership with schools, locally and internationally.

INITIATIVES:

  • The Bridge of Hope Supportive Program (BoHSP):  At the BoHSP we believe that education is a fundamental human right, not a privilege. Through this program, we hope to support more than 300 orphans and female students who have given birth from less privileged backgrounds, during their academic levels through school stationeries and other supportive items.
  • Community Impact Education Program (CIEP): This program is designed to provide sustainable solutions to obstacles that prevent female students, from less privileged backgrounds and orphans to obtain quality education. The CIEP works closely with local communities and schools to increase access to quality primary and secondary education by improving the learning environment for schools. CIEP is designed to achieve improved access to quality hygiene infrastructures, improved ability for young girls to practice in positive health behaviors, and an enhanced, enabling environment for quality sanitary pads provision. In Additional, empowering and supporting female students who given birth and seek to return to school.
