Project Initiatives At The Idodomia International Expo 2024

PROJECT INITIATIVES

The Idodomia Expo, 2024 aims to support the government’s efforts to value and protect female student. Statistics show that female students who have ‘dropped out school’ due to early or unplanned pregnancy are often at higher risk of delinquency, violence, sexual abuse and social isolation.”TIF will help to empower and support female students who have given birth and seek to return to their studies. TIF aims to support these female  students  through  education,  health  supports,  self-enterprise  and  mentoring  programs. At TIF, we believe that education is a fundamental human right, and not just a privileged. In additional, the expo were designed to enhance self-initiative and to encourage these young women students. Th ough the support, many lives in communities will be touched and together we will create an inclusive community where girls and women count and can effectively participate in every opportunity and be a valued contributor to their society.

PROJECTED SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITIES

Activity 1: Visiting the Idodomya historical Background (17th June| 8:30Am-9:30Am).

The Idodomya -the origin of the name Dodoma is derived from Idodomya, a word in the Chigogo (Gogo) language, which means “It has Sunk”. There is an existing story that, an elephant that came to drink at a nearby kikuyu stream, got stuck in the mud, and gradually sank. Then the Villagers exclaimed in amazement, Idodomya” meaning the place where the elephant has sunk. Later in 1907 the German colonists who came for central railway constructions in Tanzania were struggling to pronounce the word Idodomya, and called it Dodoma.

Activity 2: Visiting the National Assembly of Tanzania (17th June|10:00AM- 12:30PM).

Visiting and attending the National Assembly of Tanzania, during the Bunge la budget sessions while explorer the physically and historical background of the Bunge la Tanzania. The first major change to the Legislative Council was done in 1953 when the first Speaker was appointed to replace the Governor as chairman of the council. The first speaker took office on 1st November 1953. The currently used Parliament Hall in Dodoma was officially launched and started to be used in 2006. Also, the currently Bunge  House  Speaker  carry  on  the  position  of  31st  President  of  the  Inter-parliamentary  Union.

Activity 3 & 4: Visiting and Explorer the development project of Magufuri City Mtumba.

The Magufuli City was established in 2016 following the decision to implement the directive to make Dodoma the administrative capital. It is located in Ihumwa Ward around 17 kms from the city center and covers an area of 617.15 hectares, equivalent to 1,542.88 acres. The city hosts government ministries, embassy offices, government residences, social services, commercial areas, parliament, judiciary, etc The city attracting visitors from around the world to visit known as MJI   WA   SERIKALI.

Activity 4: Visiting and Explorer the State House, Chamwino ( 17th June| 15:30Pm- 17:30Pm)

The State House empire known as the White house, were located 37Km from the capital city of Dodoma. The state house approximately covering 8,473 acres equivalent to 34km square piece. The state house hosts among other amenities, Artificial wild park, the historical background of first Tanzania president and father of nation, Mwl Julius Kambarage Nyerere, while currently the historical written to 6th President of the United Republic of Tanzania, HE Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, the 1st women to carry on the Position in Tanzania.

Expo Day 1: Launching Day and Expo Participation ( 18th June| 9:30Am- :30Pm )

The intended guest of honor will be responsibly to launch the expo on 18th June 2024, held at Chinangali Recreation Park, Capital City of Dodoma Tanzania. There after being a great opportunity to showcases Tanzania products, brands and services and increase exposure during the Bunge la budget sessions while, aims to facilitate the media interviews and coverage for several stakeholders and representative leaders from various institutions as a means to promote their services and contributions to the Bunge la Budget aims.

Expo Day 2,3, 4: Delivery of activities and Opportunities ( 19th -21st June| 9:30 Am- 7:30Pm)

To showcase the various products, brands and services for excellent exposure for the targetted market. In addition, to provide networking opportunities for businesses, and new exposure and opportunities for you product and services. We anticipate the expo to provide great exposure and new business opportunities making the event mutually exceptional.
