The Triprecy Initiative Foundation (TIF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), duly registered under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children with registration No. 00NGO/R/3573. The Organization, TIF is dedicated to addressing a marginalized and vulnerable group female Tanzania Students, who suffer consequences from taboos, bad traditions, mindsets and discrimination in relation to their attendances at schools. TIF aims, through mobilization of resources, capacity building, mentoring and partnership to build efficient, effectives, and inclusive communities for sustainable development.
The origins of the name: TRIPRECY is a combination of four beloved daughter’s names of Patricia meaning of a Noble, someone who is ranked high in society, Priscilla meaning of Venerable, commanding respect by virtue, Precious meaning of great worth “or highly esteemed, and Cynthia meaning of “Moon goddess” being considered as a blessing and responsibility as well. The Triprecy Initiative Foundation aims to develop the welfare and benefit a very marginalized and vulnerable group within our Society: female Tanzanian student. The purpose of the organization is to transform girls, women and orphans by protecting, empowering and promoting their wellbeing to enhance their development at home, in schools and their communities.
