1. Concept Note

TIF is committed to supporting marginalized and vulnerable groups while promoting inclusive community development. Through strategic partnerships, TIF fosters sustainable growth, empowerment, and opportunities that uplift communities across Tanzania.

2. Background

The Idodomia International Expo is designed to coincide with the Bunge la Bajeti sessions in Dodoma. It aims to:

  • Showcase Tanzanian products, brands, and services.
  • Create platforms for local business networking and investment opportunities.
  • Promote sports, tourism, and cultural heritage as drivers of economic growth.

The expo will bring together government institutions, private sector players, development partners, sports stakeholders, and the media—strengthening collaboration and visibility.

3. Objectives

Broad Objective
To provide a platform that enhances visibility, networking, and business growth while promoting national development priorities.

Specific Objectives

  • Promote Livelihoods: Collaborate with government and development partners to strengthen socio-economic opportunities for citizens.
  • Enhance Sports & Tourism: Highlight Tanzania’s tourism, cultural heritage, and sports as avenues for economic development and social unity.
  • Community Empowerment: Promote safe blood donation initiatives, youth engagement, and support for female students who dropped out due to early pregnancies to reintegrate into education and society.

4. Key Activities

  • Exhibitions: Showcasing products, services, innovations, and cultural artifacts.
  • Sports Bonanza: Competitions, fan engagement, and entertainment.
  • Tourism & Heritage Promotion: Visits to historical sites and wildlife experiences.
  • Community Initiatives: Blood donation campaigns, youth empowerment, and gender-focused initiatives.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Business-to-business (B2B) forums, panel discussions, and media engagement.

5. Expected Outcomes

  • Increased visibility and market access for local businesses.
